Simply stated: if enough consumers demanded products and services aligned with a low-carbon economy, better jobs for more people and a strong diversity of business owners, our economy would transition swiftly. Brands providing these goods and services would flourish.
Conundrum: The majority of consumers want to buy purpose-driven brands that support sustainability and social justice. Despite their good intentions, the majority does not consistently shop in a way aligned with their stated values or desires for a sustainable and inclusive economy.
We ask why. How can we rocket-boost demand for purpose-led brands with sustainable, regenerative products and services?

We start our work with questions:
- Why don’t more of us make purchases aligned with our environmental and social values?
- What can businesses and other stakeholders do about it?
We bring the fresh insights and experience to these questions in two ways:
First, we work directly with B2C and B2B companies to define actionable steps to spur more demand from customers. With the latest data in hand, we dig deeper to understand how to motivate the consumers heart as well as their head – and to ensure access to the products is easy and unencumbered.
Second, in collaboration with NOW Partners, we are launching in the first half of 2021 a Consumer Demand Action Group. The group of B2C companies will co-design and test methods to increase consumer demand for purpose-driven, sustainable and regenerative products.
